Mindfulness-based Surf Lessons


These lessons are intended for the surf sister that wants to take their surfing practice to the next level through mindfulness-based techniques. Each session will begin with embodiment practices such as: seated movement, breath work, meditation, sharing your voice and journaling. These practices will connect us with the present moment, and with each other. We will practice surf techniques on land before each session and you will receive written and video tutorials to assist with your surfing in between sessions. This is a holistic and encouraging approach designed to empower you in your surfing journey through introspection, connection, self-development, and a lot of fun.

Surf & Stretch 1/2 Day Experience

9am - noon select Saturday’s in October & November
Location: La Jolla Shores

Join 3 other surf sisters at the iconic palm-lined La Jolla Shores beach as you welcome the day by moving and stretching your body with a focus on the hips and shoulders. After yoga, we practice surf techniques on land then change into wetsuits and hit the water! Take turns with your other surf sisters as we surf 2 at a time and cheer each other on. Your coach will be in the water with you providing support and encouragement. End the session feeling empowered and revitalized with new connections and increased confidence in the water and in your body.
